WFA Engineering Delivers Custom Slaughtering Line Machinery for US Cattle and Sheep Slaughterhouse Plant

WFA Engineering has successfully delivered a comprehensive livestock processing project in the United States. The solution is built around customized Slaughtering Line Machinery, supporting an integrated cattle and sheep slaughterhouse plant with a designed capacity of 300 cattle and 800 sheep per working shift. This project was completed and delivered in 2019. The slaughterhouse has maintained sound operation up to now.

The installed stainless steel workstations form a vital component of the overall Slaughtering Line Machinery. These robust stations feature anti slip grating floors, elevated operating platforms, sturdy safety railings and dedicated inspection positions for veterinary checks. All functional areas are carefully arranged to match the movement rhythm of carcass conveyance. This thoughtful layout supports teams to complete sequential carcass processing, inspection and cleaning operations smoothly within the same production area while meeting local hygiene and workplace safety standards.

The project scope covers the full execution chain from early planning and equipment design to manufacturing, transportation and site installation. WFA Engineering supplied tailored Slaughtering Line Machinery according to the plant layout, local hygiene requirements and production targets. The result is a structured processing environment designed for stable operation, improved workflow and easier maintenance.

The complete CAD design drawings provide the technical basis for the entire project. WFA Engineering developed 2D plan and elevation layouts to arrange every section of the Slaughtering Line Machinery in an optimized sequence. These drawings help define the production route, equipment positions, platform areas, support structures and service zones inside the facility.

WFA Engineering offers professional end to end project support covering scientific plant layout design, professional customized Slaughtering Line Machinery fabrication, systematic logistics coordination and comprehensive on-site technical supervision. WFA Engineering independently completes the structural optimization and standardized production of the core Slaughtering Line Machinery according to project scale, workshop space parameters and local industry specifications. Every equipment module is strictly manufactured and tested to adapt to local hygiene standards and commercial slaughter production logic. This mature service approach allows the project team to fully align equipment manufacturing progress and product supply schedules with on site plant construction progress. It effectively reduces installation delays, construction conflicts and process docking errors. All functional units of Slaughtering Line Machinery can be accurately positioned and perfectly integrated into the corresponding process position to form a complete, stable and efficient livestock slaughtering and processing system.

The overhead track system represents a key part of the Slaughtering Line Machinery configuration. Once installed, the equipment runs along structured processing lines that connect receiving, handling, slaughtering, dressing and inspection operations. Stainless steel platforms and support frames are positioned to give operators safe access at different working heights.

The restraining and handling unit is designed as a core process section of the Slaughtering Line Machinery. WFA Engineering structures this part for controlled animal flow, operator safety and compliance with local processing standards. Heavy-duty components, stable supports and hydraulic-related structures are integrated to support reliable operation under higher throughput conditions.

During the construction phase, WFA Engineering’s installation team focused on the positioning and alignment of Slaughtering Line Machinery supports, rails and utility connections. Installation activities were coordinated with building works, including cold room panel installation and service routing, so that mechanical equipment could be assembled systematically after the main structure was ready.

On the delivery and receiving side, all major metal components and auxiliary parts of the Slaughtering Line Machinery were received, inspected and stored before erection. This stage is important for protecting galvanized pipes, steel structures, platforms and mechanical units before they are installed into the final line positions.
